morning. this is an area where we re getting tired of being right. the border situation is deteriorating by the day. when we started the conversation throughout last year, democrats were saying there was no national emergency. they re still saying that. reporter: now, in addition to the border wall, there are plenty of other reasons for democrats not to like this budget. it proposes ten years $2.7 trillion in spending cut, $1.9 trillion will come from so called mandatory spending, medicare, reforms in drug pricing. there will be a 5% cut in discretionary spending. one bright point that nobody i have talked to really believes will happen. they re promising to balance the budget by 2034, 15 years from now. here another point of contention. the president will be bringing up a welfare to work requirement. not a well wear to work
welfare to work requirement. but was debunked a little bit, but it was the republican governors to wave that because they thought they would get more back to work. if that s not happening why at this point. ainsley: why at this point, why are more americans on food stamps, they can t find jobs and can t feed their families and the median income is $4,000 less per year. right, some of the regulations changed and recently people buying cigarettes and other things using the card and that sort of thing. mia love a breakout star from the g.o.p. talking about these, take a listen. i think that we should be compassionate and i think that we as americans are compassionate. if we re going to provide everything for everyone we re literally crippling our nation and never be enough money. what makes this country great is that we have the opportunities, ordinary people have the opportunities every day to do extraordinary
jamie colby on fox. brenda: next, lashing out the at governor romney for saying that too many people are dependent on the government. and on food stamps able to work more than double 2010. and during the the same time the obama administration temporarily waived the welfare to work requirement. and gary b, you say no coincidence, huh? absolutely, i say no coincidence and 46 million people on food stamps say no coincidence. look it, the fact of the matter is, you can be the most moral, ethical, nicest, hardest working person in the world, but if you have an incentive out there to either work or not work, and get money in the form of food stamps, what are you going to do? i m not going to work, i wouldn t work, for crying out loud if i didn t have to. you go out there, you put the carrot in front of people, now you don t have to work, you still get the food stamps and my gosh, this is a no-brainer. that s why, as you say, we ve soon the number double in the
