The Department of Public Works currently has openings for certified flaggers and equipment operators with Class A or B Commercial Drivers Licenses to assist with county road projects, according to a county release. In mid-April, a position for a mower operator to help with noxious weed growth will come open.
Weld County Road 35 between 3rd Street and WCR 78 will also be closed while work is done to improve the intersection at Weld roads 35 and 76, according to a county release. Both stretches of road are expected to open June 28 and detours can be viewed on the Weld County Road Advisory Map.
