　　我从小就想当兵，当同龄人还在学唱儿歌的时候，我已经会唱《一二三四歌》了。很多人可能会感到奇怪，为什么一个女孩子要执着于参军？这要从我曾祖父谢继良三兄弟说起。
　　抗战时期，我的曾祖父三兄弟先后加入党组织，又在3个月内先后牺牲。当时的部队首长，还亲笔给我曾祖父的母亲写了一封慰问信。所以，我从小就是听着这封信和信背后的故事长大的，从小心里就埋下了参军报国的种子，也对党产生了朴素的情感。
　　2006年冬天，入伍临行前，父亲领我到老家谢氏陵园向曾祖父告别。我至今记得，当时陵园里铺满了厚厚一层雪，几排松树格外挺拔。父亲对我说，家里每有一个人当兵，就在陵园里栽一棵松树，而我当时栽下的是第20棵松树。
