Picture: RAMA THE official Wearing Fiji 2021 show was launched last week on Friday in hopes to enlighten sponsors and get them on board. This is according to the co-founder of Wearing Fiji Samson Lee who said last year they had not received any monetary funding. “We have a visual presentation that we are going to showcase today and also to release the dates of our show which is on May 1, 2021,” he said. “We kind of want to open the fashion season by having it around that time because in the world that’s the time fashion actually kicks off. So the launch is basically to also honour the people that came down to our show last year and our VIP clients that supported us and we wanted to treat them and say thank you and hopefully they can come on board again this year.”
