It s intuitive when you think about the fact that people take out student debt to get better jobs in the labor market and they pay a premium for that. but when you think about debates on whether this population is deserving of relief, it s very clear that these are people who are they are tens of millions of people who are really struggling, really suffering. and by wealth metrics, they are quite poor in terms of the country overall. also, i should point out, they are more likely to be black and brown, because they come from families without generational wealth. at the same time, what republicans and even some conservative democrats say is that, in aggregate, people who go to college are more likely to have higher earnings potential in the market. and therefore they are not necessarily the past recipients of this money. and in response to these concerns, we can report that the biden administration is looking at income threshold at which they can set amounts below which only certain ....
