Former Calcutta High Court judge Abhijit Gangopadhyay praised the court s decision to cancel appointments made through the State Level Selection Test-2016 (SLST) in West Bengal government-sponsored and aided schools, calling it an "appropriate judgment." Gangopadhyay demanded the "immediate resignation" of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, alleging involvement of "the entire group of fraudsters in the state administration" in the scam.
