Officials say they are actively conducting flushing and sampling in accordance with their protocols and that they will continue to monitor the situation closely.
The Birmingham Police Department is investigating after they say a man and woman were shot Friday evening and the car they were in ended up in a pond in Greenwood Park. There was also an infant, who luckily suffered no injuries, inside the car.
