Of the four people who died, two were Waynoka firefighters and two were residents of the home. Firefighters were called shortly after 3 a.m. to a home in the 1700 block of Locust Street in Waynoka. The Waynoka Volunteer Fire Department requested help from the Alva Fire Department shortly before 3:30 a.m. after the Waynoka firefighters reported the front door was blocked by fire, the fire marshals said. The two firefighters went inside the home to look for the two residents when the roof collapsed, officials said. ....
