officer was injured after a wild chase with dirt bikers. jeanette reyes has the whole story. jeanette? walter, a highway patrol officer is recovering from an injured leg after a long chase. it was a chaotic night for sure. right now police are trying to figure out what happened. for nearly two hours, officers shut down diamond street between 23rd and 24th. the police pursuit may have started with the sound of gunshots. authorities tell action news they heard what sounded like gunfire. they have yet to find casings, but it set off the chase. a bike was recovered. that s where the female patrol officer was injured, possibly a broken leg. the chase continued to eerie where another bike was found. no weapons were found at any of the scenes. the scenes are now cleared out. the highway patrol officer may have suffered a broken leg. how she got the injury we do not know yet and her condition has not been released. police do not know if what they heard was a fun shot and if it wa
