We spoke with officials who say only a handful of flights are seeing minor delays of about 45 minutes to an hour. One flight to philadelphia was two hours behind schedule. Jan 28, 2021 Richard J. “Rich” Lind, Jr., 89 of Sinclairville, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2021, at Heritage Village R&SN Facility. Born May 27, 1931, in Jamestown, a son of the late Richard J. Sr. and Mae Edson Lind. He was a 1949 graduate of Cassadaga Valley Central School, where he played clarinet in the band, basketball and baseball. He was also a member and past president of the F.F.A. and was active in the 4-H program, showing Guernsey cows at the Chautauqua County Fair and receiving many awards. Rich was a lifelong farmer and had a herd of Holstein cows, heifers and calves. He never said no to helping a fellow farmer or neighbor in need which included many snowy mornings plowing for neighbors and checking on other family farms after chores.
