31.05.21 RBAF Diamond Jubilee Celebration
The culmination event of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF Diamond Jubilee Celebration, was highlighted with a Giant Parade of more than one thousand personnel from the combined RBAF Units. His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, graced the ceremony.
Upon arrival at the Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar Ali Saifuddien, His Majesty was greeted by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohammad Yussof, Second Minister of Defence and Major General Udara Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sahat, Commander of the RBAF. Also in attendance was His Majesty s son, His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister s Office.

23.02.21 Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar Ali Saifuddien 37th National Day Celebration
Brunei Darussalam celebrates its 37th National Day yesterday with the Grand Assembly at Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar Ali Saifuddien. Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu izzaddin Waddaulah Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saifuddien Sa adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam joined the country s citizens and residents at the ceremony. This year s celebration adhered to the new normal and this made it slightly different from those of previous years. However, the new situation did not dampen the people s spirit in glorifying and enlivening the event. Nearly four thousand participants took part in the parade and performance yesterday morning that carried the theme Menjayakan Wawasan Negara .

During the unscheduled visit to the Ministry of Education, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam took a closer look at several sections of the ministry.
Among the departments that came under His Majesty s scrutiny was the Department of Curriculum Development which places a number of units including the Science Unit, Information and Technology Unit, Creative Art and Technology Unit, and the Vocational and Technical Unit.
