Holland s Girlfriends Weekend scheduled, no group events
HOLLAND An annual downtown event will continue in 2021, with a few significant changes.
Girlfriends Weekend will take place Friday-Sunday, March 5-7, but with precautions in place to ensure the safety of attendees, according to a statement from the city.
Throughout the weekend, women are invited to shop, dine and indulge in downtown Holland with their friends. The registration fee for this year is just $20 down significantly from $65 in previous years.
That s because, this year, there won t be any group events including the usual Sunday brunch. Participating stores and restaurants will be operating under occupancy restrictions, and attendees will be required to practice social distancing and wear masks in-store as mandated by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.
