The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) has advised that crews are today working to fix a rupture that occurred on a large main at Carmichael or Old Works Hill, St George on Sunday.
BWA said, as a result, two stations have been taken offline in order to facilitate the repair.
Customers in the following areas may experience low water pressure or outages: First Step, Lower Brighton, Waverley Cot, Buttals Tenantry, Good Intent, Eastlyn, Manning’s Village, Walkers Valley, Constant, Windsor Tenantry, Campaign Castle, Brereton, Hannays Valley, Lower Greys, Dayrells Hill, Boarded Hall, Frere Pilgrim, Edey Village, Watts Village, St Davids, Cox Road, Bannantyne, South District and surrounding areas. ....
