HB Reavis has been given the green light to develop a major office scheme at Waterloo after reaching agreement over the community levy contributions for the new block.
Named Waterloo One, the new scheme replaces Elizabeth House and will stand close to the entrance to Waterloo train station. The project has been valued at £600m with HB Reavis acting as main contractor.
The final decision has been reached after Lambeth Council and the developer concluded negotiations over the Section 106 agreement. Since gaining resolution to grant planning permission in October 2019, HB Reavis has finalised plans with the council, with a commitment to provide a £100m package of public benefits, signalling the next phase for one of central London’s largest and most significant commercial developments.
