WaterAid Tanzania is hiring a consultant to conduct an evaluation of the Country Strategy in close collaboration with WaterAid staff. The learning captured through the evaluation will provide key input into the design of the next Country Strategy. The Country Programme Evaluation will generate insights on what has worked, where WaterAid’s niche has developed, and the challenges faced. The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates around 4.5 billion people to be living without sanitation worldwide.
The year 2020 marks 10 years since water and sanitation was officially declared a human right by the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), entitling universal access to water and sanitation for both personal and domestic use.
