Brad Walls, a fine art aerial photographer, took the snaps of the Australian-based Sydney Emeralds Synchronised Swimming team for his new work titled Water Geomaids. He wanted to create a hybrid photography series and began drawing the geometric shapes he wanted to form on paper and create in the pool. The team are choreographed by Katrina Ann, a former athlete who has competed at the Commonwealth Games and in multiple World Championships.
