High-end media publisher Modern Luxury is reviving
Watches International. Seasoned watch journalist Stephen Watson will serve as its editor-in-chief.
The announcement was made on April 6 one day before the virtual opening of the Watches and Wonders fair.
The revamped
Watches International set to debut with a biannual edition in June is “a testament to the brand’s history of identifying and conveying premium pieces,” the company said in a release. But the brand will also focus on “creating innovative experiences to entice the next generation of timepiece enthusiasts…bringing inclusivity, rather than exclusivity, to the storytelling experience.”
