Grand Hyatt Doha has launched a state-of-the-art program to reuse wastewater.
Grand Hyatt Doha has become the first Hyatt hotel in Qatar to set up a Sewage Treatment Plant.
The Plant utilizes sophisticated technology and specialized procedures to treat wastewater from the hotel to make it reusable for irrigation purposes.
Team Qatar Living met with the Director of Engineering at Grand Hyatt Doha, Manveer, who explains the project and the processes involved in the Plant.
The director explains the vision behind this project stating that the idea is to use the treated wastewater for the hotel’s captivating landscape.
“For the irrigation of the landscape we use 250 to 300 cubic meter water every day,” he mentions. ....
