Next to me is one of the premier artifact collections, the clovis points that were found in east they were found when a couple farmers were digging in the rotation ditch. Els hitthe workers shov a stone and pulled it out. He thought it was initially a broken arrowhead. They quickly realized it was one of the earliest evidences of people in north america, also known as clovis points. One of the unique things about clovis points is that they are easily two or three times bigger than clovis points found in other sites across the country. They are everything from mysterious bone rods. There is debate over what the mysterious rods represent. It could be anything from a hunting tool to a ceremonial device, to perhaps a sled runner.
