Rep. Paul Marquart, DFL-Dilworth, announced he will not be seeking re-election in 2022 in a news release on Wednesday. Marquart was first elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives in 2000 and is currently serving as chair of the Taxes committee in the MN House. "(Meeting constituents) kept me grounded and it kept me focused, and it was a constant reminder of who I serve," said Marquart, in an interview with the Detroit Lakes Tribune.
