(Wafa) Ramallah - Kifah Zboun More and more Palestinian officials have stated that President Mahmoud Abbas may postpone the upcoming parliamentary elections, a move increasingly opposed by the Hamas movement and other electoral lists. Nabil Shaath, an advisor Abbas, was among the latest officials to warn that elections are “very likely” to be delayed if Israel continues to bar voting in East Jerusalem. It agreed to restore relations in case the new US administration reopens the PLO’s office in Washington and the consulate in Eastern Jerusalem. Other conditions included rejecting annexation and settlement, supporting a two-state solution, restoring aid, and working with the international community to revive the peace process in the Middle East by holding an international conference with the participation of the Quartet, according to PLO member Wasel Abu Yousef. ....
