From a feeling of rootlessness to getting back to his roots, Gurvinder Singh was happy to be in Punjab after his days at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) in Pune. He gained experience, and then made films, including Anhe Ghore Da Daan (2011) and Chauthi Koot (2014), among others.
