Babies, toddlers and children will be singing, dancing and playing musical instruments next month as they try to raise funds for a Great Sankey man who has been diagnosed with a brain tumour. Matthew Latham is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment at Liverpool Royal’s Clatterbridge Centre as he has non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a cancer of the lymphatic system, which is affecting his brain and his liver. The intensive course of medication means the 35-year-old will be unable to work for the next 12 months as he battles the disease so friends and family have rallied round organising fundraising events to support his wife Mel and their children Noah and Blossom.
