If they were democrats and instigating violence, this is horrific. it s unacceptable for anyone from either party to do that. no one who is work for the dnc or clinton campaign was doing this. this is an attempt by donald trump to distract the real issues of this campaign. he s spiraling after his last debate and doesn t want to talk about substance. secretary clinton is out there talking about real plans she has. she made clear she wants to bring democrats, republicans, independents together. she will work for all voters. whether they supported her or not, she s going to work for everybody in the white house. let me ask you the bernie sanders/elizabeth warren wing of the democratic party they want to block anyone who worked in wall street from working in the administration. if secretary clinton is elected, what do you think of that? will sanders/warren wing succeed in keeping anybody who worked on wall street to work in the administration. the election is not over. i don t don t ....

Expect to see in hillary clinton and bernie sanders in that dynamic tonight? there are a couple things you. might say bernie sanders in some ways represents the warren wing of the democratic party. although bernie would be quick to point out, he was doing that long before elizabeth warren. the current momentum and fervor around economic populism and racial justice in some quarters. he represents that wing in a sense. there are three progressive groups that sent letters to three of the candidates conditioned saying hey, would you please represent the warren wing in terms of economic populism, racial justice. i can see clinton and sanders taking up this mantle of economic populism. to me the bigger problem for them is convergence, what does it get you in a campaign where you re trying to distinguish yourself. that s what makes the position of martin o malley interesting tonight. this is in many ways his breakout chance tons distinguish himself. ....

Lot of democrats in the more moderate establishment are getting anxious about her silence. we will talk about her overall silence at greater length in a minute, but her silence on this issue, does she have to take a stand and how perilous is it for her? yeah, they have said, listen, they will comment on this once the whole thing is done, and until then they feel like they can stay on the sidelines, and whether or not that is true we will have to see. they are also worried about not only being crosswised with the warren wing, which used to be the obama wing of the democratic party, and they are worried about being crossways with obama, and not seen as giving him political cover as well, and it s a tricky situation for her and we will have to see what she says next week in iowa, and this ....

Alex was saying. it s possible they will revive this, but i really think what we ve seen just in this last hour is a turning point here. this is really the first time the populous wing within the party, the warren wing has really flexed its muscle and won on a big issue, defying the president, defying the republican majority, defying corporate america. this is a pretty big win for them. and i suspect you ll be seeing a lot more of it. it reached critical mass within the party, so that makes the rest of the agenda all the more important because i think the whole notion of sort of the moderate new democrat is now old. and it s pretty remarkable here. dems ended up quite united on this vote. you had carper voting for the procedural move. cory booker not voting at all. but everybody else on the democratic side voting in unison which i think is pretty remarkable. let s talk about the politics though, and how they play with the american people. ....

Husband was the architect of nafta and some controversial trade deals. i think that she s, as you see in her statement to andrea, being careful. she s not saying yes or no on this. she ll continue to be pushed especially from the warren wing of the party. i think where she comes out will be fascinating. can she break with the policies of the clinton years on trade? and also, would also be a criticism of the obama administration. careful s a good way to describe the exchange we witnessed. alex is here with us. you covered an interesting meeting that hillary clinton held yesterday behind closed doors with state democrats in new hampshire where among other things she said she would remake the supreme court in order to overturn citizens united. she also suggested that she might go even further than president obama on climate change. she is hammering home on popular messages for liberals, isn t she? yeah. absolutely. you know, this is all part of her effort to reach out to that progress ....
