WARREN Mayor Lori Stone gave her first budget presentation on April 8 at the Warren Community Center’s auditorium before nearly 200 in attendance. Those gathered included one councilman, residents, city department heads and members of the media.
Warren officials appear to be moving more quickly on zoning complaints after it took 16 years and repeated complaints from residents to shut down one auto-repair shop, but took only one month for the city to halt an auto recycling businesses operations after receiving complaints about zoning non-compliance.

Too many vehicles; not enough garage space. That is the issue that Warren Communications Director Clarissa Cayton said caused the city to ask the Detroit Arsenal of Democracy to move its historic vehicles to a location other than the city’s Department of Public Works garage.
