25 Januarie 2021 06:23 Warrant Officer Deon Kruger Warrant Officer Deon Kruger passed away at the age of 54 on Saturday 2 January. Kruger embarked on his career as a dedicated officer in blue on 1 January 1988, and served in the police service for just over 33 years. He started out as an instructor at the police training academy in Tshwane and in 1993 went on to serve as part of the Public Order Policing Unit (Pops) in Polokwane. He was transferred to Kuils River (also as part of Pops) before joining the National Intervention Unit in Bishop Lavis and Cape Town. He served as designated second-hand goods officer at the Somerset West Police Station, where he was employed since 2015. ....
