stand up for them and i thank governor kemp for winning again. he has done some great things for the state. governor kemp is helping me run as well. there are a lot of people that believe in this country and believe in the people and that s what i believe in. i believe in the people. from what i ve read in the constitution we the people. not we the government. senator warnock wants the government to control your life. that s one of the things i do not want. i think right now the government has shown they will spend your money, they will raise your taxes and give you more crime and open the border. they are doing things that are not american. they are doing things that is not georgia. as i told people, i m georgia born and bred and when i die i will be georgia dead. i love this state and country and always fight for the people and this country. harris: i had election night live audience voters voices. some of what you are saying would cut across both aisles. that political aisle, even
what s at stake for me is i want the georgia people to have a voice in washington. i think the last two years they haven t had a voice. senator warnock has done everything for joe biden and not for the georgia people. i think people see that in his voting. he has voted for the open border. he hasn t said anything about it. you see the way the economy is right now. you see men and women, crime on the streets and this is less than two years. that means the people of georgia haven t had a voice. right now i speak for the georgia people and i will always speak for the georgia people and the reason i decided to run. i tell everyone i m not a politician, never looked or acted like one. right now what senator warnock has done to the georgia people is not correct. they re better than he has represented us in washington. harris: it was a blue seat when you went for it. what you trying to do is flip it red. why do you think it got so close down at the end?
a lot of people were saying herschel walker can t do it or do it by a mile. what drove it so close and so tight? it s so tight. this is the united states of america. everyone has a voice and that s what is so wonderful about it. everyone has a voice. right now i want everyone s voice to be heard and vote counted. one thing that we have to get back to is we can agree to disagree. we ve gotten away from that. one of the things when i decided to run i want to be a guy to bring people together. i don t believe in separation. warnock believes in separation what he makes statements that america needs to apologize for whiteness and the problem america has in racism. he wants to separate and the muscling he is doing now. people want to know about the policies. the policies he has done, he has failed georgia and failed this country and he will continue to fail. this is less than two short years. right now we need new leadership in washington. we need people in washington
that foreign leaders will respect. right now i don t think the foreign lieders respect some of the leadership we have in washington because of what happened in afghanistan. warnock didn t hold joe biden accountable for that. we need leadership to be strong and there are good people here in the united states of america and good people in the state of georgia. harris: a piece on the hill argues it will hurt you without governor brian kemp on the ballot this time around. kemp outran walker by 210,000 votes putting the gop senate candidate behind the eight ball heading into the runoff. what s your reaction to that? my reaction is when i first got in the race they said i wouldn t be able to do it. you see where i m at now. i speak for the georgia people and they spoke for me. i have more sheriffs that endorsed me than anyone else running because they knew i would have their backs. they knew i would always stand up for them. the georgia people know i will
