Of five fires that night, all within a mile, all set within an hour. Its definitely considered arson at this point. Right now, actively searching for anyone involved. We refer it to a hot set, a flick of the bic. Reporter the fires quickly let, and a crime more frequent than i realize. In any of the bay area counties there are fires being started every day. Reporter two other fires were next to a middle school, another behind an apartment complex, another alongside the fairgrounds. They were put out quickly, which may be part of the fire setters psychology. Many feel i set it in a place where it wouldnt hurt anybody, or i set it in a way that it wont spread very fast, but thats something, thats a mind game they play with themselves, and re halt is, once the fires set, you cant control it.
