A split board agreed to partially move forward on a recommendation from activities directors Michelle Wade and Brandon Brown to boost the district’s number of coaching and sponsor positions.
At Wednesday’s meeting, the board continued looking at spending options for the remaining funds, including a camera and vaping detection system that had been discussed at the April meeting.
Under the plan approved by the school board, both full-time and part-time teachers and non-teaching staff members in the district would receive a maximum $1,000 payment or pro-rated amount based on their employment status.
