Speakers at a February 9, 2024 commemoration of the anniversary of the Iranian Islamic Revolution, held at the Hadi Institute Youth Community Center in Dearborn, Michigan praised Iranian leaders Ruhollah Khomeini and Ali Khamenei. Hassan Salami recited poetry claiming that MEMRI wants to "silence us as a community." He said that the "greatest threat to the American people is
