think on secondary issue they could have communication. but does this mean that russia is arriving at that divide in the road and i think we re going to get an indication of that in the next few days, wolf. it is surprising that ukrainians are pushing back on the u.s. so publicly here? yes. in the simplest terms, yes. here is the piece that is more understandable. ukrainian president, officials, they ve got a country to run right now. with a lot of human beings in there who might rightfully be fearful of these predictions and they don t want panic. they don t want people to be crowding into airports and driving out of the country overnight. so that is understandable. and that difference in messaging is one that white house officials understand. you have two different audiences to speak to here. the other piece i would say is this, any time you have intelligence, particularly when it involved a former kgb agent who is now the president of
