Actress-producer Sharifah Aminah Syed Abdullah passed away at 6.40am, today (May 24) at Kajang Hospital. She was 76.
The news was confirmed by Aminah’s eldest daughter Wan Monaliza Jamal to Berita Harian.
According to the report, Aminah – who had been in a semicomatose state for the past three years – had breathing difficulties the previous evening (May 23).
“I contacted the hospital when my mother started had breathing problems.
“Since she had been in a semicoma state, it s hard to confirm the source of the problem, ” Monaliza told BH.
