according to this criminal complaint, cornell went on twitter last summer and posted statements, videos and other content supporting isis. in the fall a confidential fbi source made contact with cornell and they began going back and forth about this. when they met in november, cornell said he considered members of congress enemies and he was planning an attack on the capitol in d.c. he wanted himself and the source to detonate pipe bombs and then use guns to shoot officials and employees at the capitol. cornell also felt he had the authority from isis leaders to carry this out. he made his initial court appearance today in ohio. he s due back in court friday. we ll have live reaction from the capitol coming up on wusa9 news at 7:00. a ward 8 council member candidate and son of the late marion barry is accused of making threats and destroying property at a d.c. bank. our mola lenghi is live in the newsroom to tell us about this. according to metropolitan police repor ....
