No problems on the bridge. Of course, were looking at some of these other commutes. Traffic continues to move along pretty well on the other bridges. Commute on 80 hasnt completely filled in. A little bit slow past highway 4 hercules area and highway 4 is slow out of antioch through pittsburgh and bay point. Gets better over the hill in concord and 680 getting slow in pleasant hill. 24 still looks good from walnut creek to oakland. To the maze it is taking 48 minutes. When you get past the 48 minutes you will see a backup waiting for you getting into San Francisco. It is backed up now all the way out to the maze. These days, when you take a trip to upper Peach Street, it can be hard to imagine how this area of our town looked 100 years ago. Passing by car dealerships, chain restaurants, and massive superstores, it feels impossible that this area was once farmland and wilderness, with horses and buggies trudging through unpaved, sparsely populated dirt roads. There is, however, one surviving relic from those simpler times.
