Two-year-olds were in the spotlight Saturday (Nov. 18) night at The Meadowlands in six $20,000 eliminations for next week’s four big-money “Fall Final Four” finals.
Trainer Lucas Wallin was not exceptionally pleased with his filly’s post position prior to the race. Post nine, however, proved to be no problem for Soiree Hanover in the $400,000 Jim Doherty Memorial for two-year-old filly trotters on Friday, Sept. 15 at Harrah's Hoosier Park.
Lucas Wallin will hope it’s party time with Soiree Hanover, as well as several other horses from his stable, when the two-week New Jersey Classic Series (NJC) begins on Friday night (Sept. 1) at The Meadowlands.
After disappointing their fan bases in their most recent starts, My Way and Allegiant got into the win column Friday night (July 21) at The Meadowlands by winning their respective $30,000 divisions of the second leg of the New Jersey Sire Stakes for two-year-olds on the trot.
