WEST BLOOMFIELD/WALLED LAKE On Feb. 11, the Oakland County Health Division announced that the county will no longer require students, teachers and staff to wear masks while inside school buildings, effective Feb. 28.
Parents in several Oakland County school districts are banding together in an effort to end a county-wide mask mandate for students. They are threatening to file lawsuits if the schools continue to use taxpayer money to enforce the health department's orders.
