it s quite a large crowd. they re going through the preliminary speakers now. you see a big crowd behind me. trust me, it runs out this way as well and over this way. this is the wisconsin homecoming. paul ryan and mitt romney landed just a short time ago. paul ryan said it was great to be home. he said he s been flying into the airport in milwaukee, never has he returned home for a welcome like this. he will be the republican vice presidential nominee. we re in a state as you know, that has been democratic reliablely blue for a long time, but these republicans here think because of the romney pick of paul ryan, because of the election buzz, the republican governor recently survived that bruising recall election. they think it s possible they can put them back. these people know him quite well. the american people are just getting to know the congressman, sometimes controversial chairman that mitt romney has asked to join the ticket. the republican ticket traveled her ....

We re seeing high turnout in dain county, left-leaning, the home of the university of wisconsin and state capitol, a lot of public workers there, and walk shaw county, the most populus that leans very republican. so those two counties are really key ballots grounds in this state to see which one turns out in higher numbers. milwaukee county is seeing turnout around 35% right now. and in some areas like fond du lac, they may keep the polls open later tonight, because there are such long lines. so we are hearing anecdotally that counties are running out of ballots because the turnout has been so overwhelming, but we re hearing that from both conservative and liberal-leaning districts, so it will be interesting to see which side wins out and did a better job of turning out their base. any sort of educated guess on when you think we ll have extrapolatable results in terms of tonight s vote? well, i don t know if i m so good at guessing this, but no ....
