He died on 04.05.2021 while undergoing treatments in National Hospital Colombo. The cause of death is mentioned as Covid pneumonia. 02. The deceased is a 66 year old male resident in Kadawatha. (MENAFN - NewsIn.Asia) Colombo, February 15 (newsin.asia): The foundation stone for the construction of 50 houses in Walahanduwa estate in Galle District in South Sri Lanka on grant basis under Indian Housing Project was jointly laid by High Commissioner of India, Gopal Baglay (in virtual mode), Hon ble Mr. Jeevan Thondaman, State Minister of Estate Housing & Community Infrastructure, Hon ble Dr. Ramesh Pathirana, Minister of Plantation on February 15, the Indian High Commission said. High Commissioner Baglay addressed the gathering through a special video message. He told the gathering that India will continue to support Sri Lanka during the current challenging times, within the limits of its capacity. He said that India is committed to assisting Sri Lanka in it s overall socio-economic development focusing on the priorities areas of the Government of Sri Lanka. These are: water & sanitation, skill development, IT and agriculture. ....
