Abdulkadri said he gets scared and cold anytime he hears the name of Igboho.
He disclosed this during an interview with the BBC on Thursday.
Abdulkadri narrated what he experienced when “Igboho and his boys stormed his residence was still fresh in his memory.”
The Seriki said he had never experienced nor witnessed such in his life.
Abdulkadri, who has relocated to his hometown in Ilorin, Kwara State, stated that the day he heard that Igboho has gone to Ogun State, he “could not sleep.”
The Seriki while describing Igboho’s action as heinous, accused the activist of killing “his only brother during the attack on the Fulani community that fateful Friday.” ....

Police brutality: Reactions trail judgment in favour of Tola Azeez

Reactions have begun to trail the judgement of a Federal High Court sitting in Osogbo which awarded N5 million in damage against the Nigeria Police and the Inspector General of Police over the abuse of Tola Azeez in Iwo, Osun State.
In their reactions, Ayodeji Ologun, an Osun-based media consultant said the judgement came at a very critical time in the history of the country especially when states and the federal government are trying to review issues around police brutality.
He said the action of police officers involved in the brutalisation of Tola Azeez was condemnable considering also that they had been dismissed from the force. ....

Stakeholders task govt to address Nigerians on Chibok schoolgirls

Nearly seven years after the abduction of Chibok schoolgirls by the Boko Haram terrorist group, some of the girls have finally escaped.
While expressing joy about the news, stakeholders who spoke with DAILY POST asked the Federal Government to speak to Nigerians about the purported escape of the girls.
This newspaper gathered that one of the abducted girls, Halima Ali Maiyanga put a call to her father yesterday. The Chairman of the Chibok Parents Association, Lawal Zannah, whose daughter was among those abducted also confirmed the news.
Not releasing a statement, according to the stakeholders, is a minus for Buhari administration, saying, it shows that they lack the capacity to free any captive. ....
