She has been battling a number of Health Issues, whats your understanding of her condition now . Reporter the family has told us, that she is in failing health, she has been suffering for the last year or two from copd, and from congestive Heart Failure. If you have seen her in person, shes frequently on oxygen almost all the time. And i think what a lot of people dont know is people have been very aware that her husband, former president bush suffers from parkinsons and we have seen him in a wheelchair for quite some time, but what people dont know is that her health has been so frail, shes been in and out of hospitals quite a few times in the last year, most recently on good friday, she went in, she was having some trouble breathi ....

While people know that her husband has parkinsons and has been in a wheelchair for quite some time, what i dont think most people are aware of is that shes been suffering from copd and from congestive Heart Failure for about two years now. And it has gotten progressively worse. Now, barbara bush is very private. So the first thing she would say is, you shouldnt be making a big fuss about me. But the reality is, shes been in and out of the hospital several times recently, suffering from shortness of breath. And the fact that the copd has progressed, she was in the hospital on good friday for about a week to ten days.
