The Tennessee Valley Authority, in partnership with Bicentennial Volunteers Incorporated, a TVA retiree organization, announced this week the award of $800,000 in grants to educators in public schools to develop science, technology, engineering, and math education projects all across the Tennessee Valley. Parham said internet is a necessity for his chicken barns and soybean operation after he recently invested $1.8 million for a chicken barn operation in the county. He said the barns rely on internet to connect with one another.
