January 1, 2021 Elizabeth Perkins-Mullen, better known as ‘Cookie,” daughter of James and Isabelle Perkins, was born Tuesday, July 18, 1950, in Nassawadox, Va. She departed this life Thursday, Dec. 24, 2020, at the age of 70, while resting at home in Georgetown. Elizabeth attended New Allen Memorial A.M.E. Church in Franktown, Va. Her parents relocated to Rehoboth Beach. Elizabeth received her education at Rehoboth Elementary and Middle Schools and also attended William C. Jason Comprehensive High School in Georgetown. After she completed school, she worked in the home health profession. Cookie was blessed with a son, James Perkins, also known as “Poonie,” while she was employed at Doxsee Clam House in Lewes. Her son departed this life at the age of 9 as a result of an automobile accident. After her son passed away, Elizabeth moved to Millsboro with her sister, Lizzie Mae, better known as “Babe.” She worked at Cargill Paramount ....
