They wanted 3 1/2% for energy for keeping lights on and now they re 60% enrichment moving toward a nuclear weapon. if a deal were struck the idea at the table now is russia would hold the uranium. you would give a war criminal, putin, to be able to hold that uranium. it seems to me a very concerning development and so i think overall what we need is a stronger and longer agreement that addresses these issues and gets putin out of they quaition and addresses what we do on the terror front. giving billions of dollars to them makes no sense and is concerning for us, the united states, for our security and, of course, for the region. dana: you are joined by many other democrats raising alarm about this. several of them-from swing districts. i listened to the press conference. the principle objection here.

United nations told joy reid earlier tonight that no one of the united nations believe the word that the russian ambassador said. no other ambassador offered support for russia today, including china s ambassador to the united nations. french president emmanuel macron has been trying to broker a cease-fire in ukraine, and was publicly discouraged two weeks ago on president biden first call of vladimir putin a war criminal. not because macron thinks that he is not a war criminal, but he thought that language would be harmful to the diplomatic process. today, president macron s deputy ambassador to the united nations was no longer constrained by diplomatic concerns. we are still shocked by the horrific images that were shown in the video this morning. france condemns in the strongest terms the massive atrocities committed by the russian forces.
