That was in the runup to the elections. 31,000 more jobs were added to august and septembers tallies in the revisions that typically follow a month or two after a jobs report. At 69 49 months of straight job growth, this is the longest continuous stretch of job growth in almost 20 years, and this years Monthly Average job growth is exceptional. America has added 229,000 net new jobs every month this year. Thats about where the gains should be so that the job market has room to grow and take in new workers who joined the labor force every month.
