They said the decisions to annul Article 35A and read-down Article 370 were implemented in a way that prevented loss of life and property. They said even Pakistan is now asking for reinstatement of statehood for J&K, virtually accepting it as a part of India. The 15 ex-IPS officers, including 10 former DGPs, penned the letter as part of a collective effort named Track The Truth .
