I love music, especially new music. I’ve always bought and listened to loads of it. Like everyone, I have my favourite bands and favourite genres but I’ve always been keen to hear new things. As i got older, I found myself doing this less as life became busier. I noticed that people in my age group were no longer interested in discovering new artists like they did when they were younger.
Eleven years ago I decided to start writing a music list that talked about my favourite releases in the year, culminating in an annual top 10. I like writing so it’s been fun and a good record for me to keep. It’s also been a way that a lot of my friends get introduced to new artists. ....
