Virtual History Camp slated | News, Sports, Jobs

The Castle Historic House Museum will present Virtual History Camp: Divided & United: 1860-1870s the weeks of Feb. 2-26. Activities will cover various topics related to the era of 1860-1870s, primarily the Civil War, with expert presenters from the region.
According to Kyle Yoho, Education Director at The Castle, “Over the past few years The Castle has received numerous requests to make our renowned History Camp classes accessible beyond our 3rd-6th grade audience. Given our recent foray into a virtual camp in 2020, we are happy to finally provide a History Camp for all ages.” Yoho added, “This year’s ‘All Ages History Camp’ will be a little different than a traditional camp. For the convenience of our ‘campers’ we have broken the camp into just a couple classes a week over four weeks. Each week will feature two classes with bonus classes offered some weeks.” ....
