Une balade en train, un trajet de plus ou moins trente minutes … A priori, rien de bien original d’attractif et d’attrayant. Mais lorsqu’il s’agit d’anciennes machines dont certaines à vapeur qui sillonnent une magnifique campagne verdoyante et vallonnée, l’intérêt est tout autre.
Entre Mariembourg et Treignes, des tortillards sillonnent les trois vallées. Les trains se faufilent entre trois vallées de la botte du Hainaut. Les habitants du coin les empruntent pour se déplacer d’un village à l’autre alors que les touristes embarquent pour découvrir la région et les musées du village de Treignes.
