In calistoga, there is a real fear about the fire making it into the area. Earlier this morning, half of the people in the city of 5000 were told to leave. A short time ago, that Evacuation Order was expanded to all of calistoga. Tom vacar is live. Reporter it happened at 3 15 pm. They put it out on the system saying everybody in this town have to go. Let me show you how bizarre it is. This is the main street of calistoga. This mainstreet, lincoln, is absolutely blocked off. Except two people leaving at the last minute. They have been told to get out. Other than that, all you see is official police cars. Firetrucks and other official cars that have business here. All of the stores are intact. They have electricity and phone service. But it is closed. Everyone is required to leave. This town is 131 years old. This

As we move further south from here there are less opportunities of existing roads and infrastructure that we can get resources in and attack the fire. So thats why we are making a big stand on this right now. But by noontime cal fire decided the fires around calistoga were too hot and began moving us and crews out of area. We had to shift the objective and reengage and pull back and reengage depending where the wind is and where the spot fires are occurring. Residents who stay had been warned. They said we will leave you caution time in case you leave we want to you hang that on the driveway so we know we dont have to go look for corpses. This is definitely the worst one expect the death toll from the north bay firestorms continues to rise as crews are working around the clock trying to get the upper hand on two dozen fires burning just in the north bay expanding into northern california. Right now there are 400 people who remain unaccounted for in Sonoma County alone in the Sheriffs Office is using cadaver dogs to search for those people. We know more than 170,000 acres have burned, and that number could rise as there is very little containment in this particular fire.
