Korean viewers were unhappy upon seeing a Chinese product in Vincenzo Episode 8, aired on March 14. It was in the scene where Hong Cha Young (Jeon Yeo Bin) is seen offering a packaged Bibimbap to Vincenzo Cassano (Song Joong Ki). Following this, K-netizens took to the internet to criticize the show.

In the packaging of bibimbap, the company name and the flavor of the Bibimbap were written in Chinese. A few minutes after it was aired on primetime, the issue escalated. Some online users commented that they used to like the drama, but seeing the Chinese product made them dislike the series.
